Take centrestage. This is your show.
A show with no plot, only a beginning and an end. Where every scene precedes another scene and is followed by another scene, Act after Act after Act.
A scriptless play, in which every thespian's move improves upon a solemn record of theatre. A play, which, though directorless, takes shape, moulding the thespians' act even as the thespians dictate the story.
When the curtains rise, and you start groping your way through the play, blinded by the limelight, reaching and grasping for what you won't see until you've touched it, take care to remember the others on stage with you. They are as much a part of your show as you are.
And as the curtains fall, and the cast bows to the melancholic applause, there is only the silent apprehension, the expectant calmness of knowing that you have done what you have to do and that this is the end.
There is no second run, no room for mistake.
Do it beautifully.
This, is your show.
